Elite: Dangerous – DEV UPDATE (15/10/2015)


Hi everyone,

As I’m sure you can imagine work on the Elite Dangerous: Horizons Planetary Landings release is continuing at pace and this week – one of the major new features is the ability to drive the SRV on the surface. We’ve approached adding the SRV in the same way that we did when originally adding the flight controls into the game. They key here is to have the driving as a fun experience in itself as well as with the gameplay elements layered on top of it. As with the ships we have a robust physics system at the core and it’s with the controls we turn that into a fun experience. (more…)

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Patch 1.10


Patch 1.10 (9 October 2015)

  • Adds music after horse race in quest titled Ciri’s Story: The Race.
  • Fixes issue whereby ambient music from surroundings of Kaer Muire could override other music.
  • Fixes lack of music if autosave made before fight against pirates was loaded during quest titled Destination: Skellige.
  • Adds segments to conversations with Triss and Yen before battle at Kaer Morhen.
  • Adds segements to conversation with Ciri in quest titled Payback.
  • Adds segments to conversation with Triss in quest titled On Thin Ice.
  • Fixes issue whereby forktail could screech endlessly if ignited with the Igni Sign Igni and then slashed with a sword.
  • Fixes issue entailing unintended loop in combat music during first musical sequence in New Game + mode.


Elite: Dangerous – DEV UPDATE (08/10/2015)



Hi everyone,

This week has been another busy week and saw the simultaneous release of both Xbox One and the CQC update for PC and Mac. There were a few bumps with scaling out the servers,  which should be addressed today. As with previous releases we plan a minor update to sweep up some other issues as a title update for the Xbox One and minor update for PC and Mac once this is ready.

As part of the release some of us took part in a live AMA on Xbox One subreddit with a long list of questions that we had fun going through – I think we managed to answer most of them! You can read the AMA here:

Thanks to everyone on the subreddit for their questions. Later in the day Ed Lewis hosted some live chats with a number of developers and thanks again to everyone who took part.

Greetings Commanders, here is the CQC 1.4 update change log!


– CQC Added!
– Imperial Eagle added
– Federal Gunship added
– Federal Assault Ship added
– Hazardous resource extraction sites added
– Compromised nav beacons added
– Legal salvage missions added
– Added Outfitting for CQC
– Changed how powerplant damage is handled – small chance of instant destruction, otherwise malfunctions and halved power output
– Assign Imperial Eagles to those who should have them from their backer rewards
